A goaltenders dual in the second quarter kept the score close. A late quarter goal by Sturgis made it 4-1 but Brody Holizki scored less than a minute later to me it a 2 goal game. Sturgis scored 6 seconds later to end the quarter 5-2 for the home squad at the half.

The third quarter was quiet with Sturgis scoring the only goal. They added two more in the fourth to go up 8-2. Kallen Currie scored his first of the season but it was too little, too late for the Prairie Dogs and they lose 8-3 to Sturgis.
