REGINA, SK - Prince Albert’s first game of the Harvest Cup was a quiet one until the final frame. Yorkton scored to take a 1-0 five minutes into the first, but Brennan Boruch answered right back for the Prairie Dogs to tie the game. That is all that PA had in the first, and a late goal by Yorkton put them up 2-1 at the end of the first quarter.

Kyle Sawchuk evened up the game 3:44 into the second for the blue and cream. Two minutes later the Olden Knights scored to go ahead. But only a bull’s ride later Boruch potted his second of the game to make it 3-3.

The third quarter was not what PA wanted as Yorkton put a couple behind goaltender Matt Robin. And with no goals from PA they headed into the final frame down 5-3.

The Prairie Dogs turned it on in the fourth quarter. Chase Netmaker won some key faceoffs that helped set up 2 goals for Brody Holizki and Boruch added another and the Prairie Dogs squeezed out a 6-5 win over the Yorkton Olden Knights.

Brennan Boruch scored 3 for the Prairie Dogs while Brody Holizki added a pair and Kyle Sawchuk rounded out the scoring. Matt Robin took the win in net. PA will take on the Regina Southern Comfort in the secondand final game of the Harvest Cup at 4:00 pm.
